Courtney Pogones was just 32 when she was tragically taken from us on April 2, 2022 - seven years after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Courtney spent her last seven years coping with and eventually losing her life to the challenges related to bipolar disorder.
Courtney is a hard person to tell you about with words - you’d really need to meet her to understand the dynamo she was. She had a presence you can’t quite pin, a smile and giggle that could light any room, and eyes that sparkled and shined with glee and mischief.
Courtney will live on in her most precious creation - a tenacious, intelligent, beautiful, and funny little Courtney clone named Bella Louise Pogones.
The people who loved Courtney struggled beside her as she tried to live with her bipolar disorder diagnosis.
Our hope is to use your donations locally to improve access and streamline processes to help people with these struggles and other mental health issues. Please consider making a donation - 100% of donations will be used to improve access and start removing barriers to help in a positive direction.
Courtney received treatments at Independent Management Services (IMS), a place we believe can benefit from further support.
